2018 Summer Activities

Sign Up for Summertime Pack Activities

When school wraps, the Scout activities take a break – sort of.

A Scout can earn the individual Summertime Award by participating in 3 Pack activities.
If 50% of the Pack attends each event, the Pack earns the Summertime Pack Award.

This summer Scouts have more options to stay involved and connected to their friends, and have lots of fun being out in the community. In addition to our annual end-of-year picnic in June and August community service project, Scouts can either represent Pack 274 at our Monticello Walk & Roll booth or ride on the float (and throw candy) in the Monticello Riverfest Parade. The activity options are:

Option A: Walk & Roll (June 9, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.), Pack Picnic (June 10, 3 to 6 p.m.) and Community Service Project (August 4).

Option B: Pack Picnic (June 10, 3 to 6 p.m.), Monticello Riverfest Parade (July 15 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and Community Service Project (August 4).

Option A & B.

Note: Scouts will not be asked to be at the entire event for Walk & Roll.

Scouts that participate in at least 3 of the activities will earn the Summertime Award, and will receive a pin for their uniform this fall. If the Pack has at least 50% participation at each of the events it will the National Summertime Pack Award.

Consider which option your Scout prefers – Option A, Option B or both A+B – complete the information and hit submit, and we’ll see your Scout this summer for loads of fun!

Parents – we need help coordinating the Walk & Roll event. Please sign up to get involved!
